Healthcare Network Announces New Vice President of Information Technology

Naples, Fla. (May 9, 2022) – Healthcare Network, a nonprofit organization working to ensure primary medical care is accessible to everyone in the community, regardless of job, income or insurance status, is pleased to announce Thuan Nguyen has joined the organization as vice president of information technology. In this newly created role, Nguyen serves as a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the organization’s IT systems and electronic health records team.

As vice president of information systems, Nguyen is responsible for Healthcare Network’s overall technology roadmap and technology infrastructure, implementing corporate and technology strategies and ensuring that the organization’s technology resources are aligned with its business needs. He also has responsibility for driving future-looking innovation for the organization to enhance the digital patient and digital employee experience.

Nguyen joins Healthcare Network from Mary’s Center in Washington D.C. where he served as chief information officer responsible for developing and managing the organization’s first IT cloud optimization strategic Plan. Prior to Mary’s Center, Nguyen was chief technical officer for So Others Might Eat where he led a complete and total transformation of the IT infrastructure, governance standards, and technology realignment to support organizational needs.

Before entering the nonprofit sector in 2017, Nguyen spent 17 years in the corporate sector in key technical and leadership roles. Nguyen was vice president of information technology for InfinityQS and was responsible for architecting an on-demand system that provided thousands of SPC web sessions to fortune 500 companies worldwide.

Nguyen graduated from Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
