1977

Collier Health Services was founded by community leaders in Immokalee to make quality medical care accessible to all. ​

1993

1993​

To address the needs of the growing population, Collier Heath Services opened the Marion E. Fether Medical Center in Immokalee, which was completed in July 1993. ​Practices included adult, pediatric, women’s, and dental care as well as specialty, a practice focused chronic and infectious diseases.​

1995

Successfully completed rigorous evaluation by Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The three-year accreditation demonstrates the organization’s ongoing commitment to high-quality care and patient safety. Healthcare Network has voluntarily sought AAAHC accreditation since 1995 and was most recently re-accredited in August 2019.

1999

Collier Health Services opens adult care practice at iTECH, Immokalee Technical College

2003

In response to a county commission-appointed study on the accessibility of healthcare to Collier County residents, Collier Health Services opened its first primary care medical practice in east Naples.

2020 HCN

2004

Recognizing not all families could travel to their locations, Collier Health Services collaborated with Ronald McDonald House Charities® to introduce Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®. With great support from Naples Children and Education Foundation (NCEF) the mobile pediatric facility delivers medical and dental care to children throughout Collier County.

Healthcare Network has grown from two small trailers in Immokalee to a comprehensive network of providers located throughout Collier County. Always sensitive to growing needs, leadership continues to seek ways to increase access and primary health services for everyone in our community, regardless of income or insurance status.
