Timeline

2007 - FSU Partnership Healthcare Network

2007

Collier Health Services entered into an agreement with Florida State University College of Medicine (FSU COM) to provide medical education opportunities and increased healthcare services for the rural and underserved population in Immokalee.

2008 - FSU Med COLLIER

2008

FSU COM opened Isabel Collier Read Medical Campus in Immokalee. Collier Health Services relocated its pediatric and women’s care practices from their neighboring Marion E. Fether medical center creating a comprehensive primary healthcare campus in Immokalee.

2012-Rebranded-scaled

2012

Collier Health Services was rebranded Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida.

2013

2013

behavioral health was introduced. The integrated program combines primary health care and mental health care in one setting to improve access and reduce the stigma often associated with seeking mental health services.

2015 - YMCA

2015

Opened Nichols Pediatric Center practice in The Greater Naples YMCA.

2015 Health & Smiles Mobile - Healthcare Network

2015

Addressing barriers to care for adults, Healthcare Network deployed a second mobile unit, the Health and Smiles mobile to deliver primary medical and dental care to at-risk families.

Healthcare Network has grown from two small trailers in Immokalee to a comprehensive network of providers located throughout Collier County. Always sensitive to growing needs, leadership continues to seek ways to increase access and primary health services for everyone in our community, regardless of income or insurance status.
